Cara Connects celebrates business growth with new name

After a quarter century of helping motivated individuals find a pathway to employment success, The Cara Program has gone through a major rebranding, shortening its name to Cara and changing its logo and slogan to reflect their passionate, can-do attitude towards the people they serve. Cara’s new tagline, “Let’s Get to Work,” is meant as much for Cara’s staff as those they place into jobs. It’s a constant motivation and reminder that with the hard work of Cara, more folks in need of jobs can work, too.

As part of Cara’s makeover, its four-year old staffing enterprise TCP Staffing is now Cara Connects. Both the name and newly-redesigned website reflect its identity as a hub for businesses to connect with talented workers through Cara’s community referral partners, and for candidates to connect with supportive services and jobs.

Last year, Cara Connects began using mobile recruiting from diverse community organizations to grow its candidate pipeline. To date the staffing enterprise has established recruiting relationships with eight partner organizations and onboarded some 150 individuals as a result.

Personal connections are another part of its message. Cara Connects prides itself on a culture designed to build strong, authentic relationships with candidates that enhance their motivation to succeed on-the-job, and in turn strengthen Cara’s value proposition to staffing customers.
