GoodWork Staffing opens first on-site office

Alliance member GoodWork Staffing recently became the primary vendor for two well-known distribution centers located in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. As a result, GoodWork Staffing has opened its first on-site office and currently has over 100 employees working and 100 more orders to fill for picking/packing positions!

Opening an on-site office was a growth goal set by GoodWork Staffing for 2017 and achieved through teamwork and determination. They are excited to take on this responsibility. As the on-site manager, GoodWork coordinates a variety of human resource functions involved in supervising the account’s contingent workforce, and is uniquely qualified to create a positive work experience and boost retention and temp-to-hire conversions through their understanding and delivery of supports that address candidates’ barriers to employment.

GoodWork Staffing is a division of Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont and provides employment solutions to a wide variety of companies, including manufacturing, industrial, clerical, accounting, and professional services placements. Through their partnerships formed with well-known businesses throughout the Charlotte/Mecklenburg County region of North and South Carolina, GoodWork Staffing has grown its revenue by 186% from 2012 through 2016, and employed 1,732 individuals in 2016.
