2019 Regional Meetups

This year, in lieu of a national conference, we’ve opted to organize three one-day Regional Meetups for greater ease of travel and access. All Meetups are open to all practitioners, regardless of your location.

Registration Information

The cost per event to register for the Midwest and Southeast Meetups is $45.00 for Alliance member practitioners and $90.00 for non-members. The Western Region Meetup, held jointly with Goodwill Industries’ Staffing Services Workgroup, has a fee of $75.00 per person.

Southeast Region Meetup, October 3, 2019

Presenters: We’ll reserve time for informal peer sharing and an update from GoodSource. In addition:

  • Staffing expert Amy Bingham will share a simple 10-step Sales Workflow process you can use to gain hiring managers’ attention and win new accounts!
  • Dave DeSario from Temp Worker Justice will brief us on the status of their initiative to develop a “best practice” model contract between staffing firms, host employers and workers.

Thanks to our Midwest and Western Region Meetup hosts!

Cara Connects hosted our Midwest Meetup July 17 in Chicago, and the Goodwill Industries Staffing Services Workgroup hosted our Western Region Meetup August 10 in Spokane. Both events featured a workshop on Designing and Managing an Effective Compensation Plan for sales and recruiting staff, led by staffing industry expert Tom Kosnik from the Visus Group. At our Spokane event, Gregg Keesling, founder and CEO of RecycleForce and Halili Knox,  Senior Customer Education Manager at Checkr shared their insights about the Power of Staffing to Expand Second Chance Employment.
